EU-ZIRA3A<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The EU Integrated Rural Development Programme for Egypt is funded by the European Union (EU) with a total fund of \u20ac24M and implemented by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) in three governorates of Assiut, Sohag, and Beni Suef.<\/p>

The programme has been designed to support the Egyptian Government in implementing the Sustainable Agriculture Development (SADS) and to support the socio-economic development and improve livelihood of the rural communities. The implementation period started in November 2022 with a total duration of 66 months.<\/p>

Direct beneficiaries:<\/strong><\/p>

The main targeted direct beneficiaries will be the rural communities of farmers, their cooperatives (producers\u2019 groups and producers organizations), including community-based associations and civil society organizations.<\/p>
